Getting started

October 8, 2010

Hi, my name is Tom Chiverton, and I recently became Extravision's lead developer.
I've previously been involved in a wide range of projects from web-based tracking of vehicles to displaying corporate address books on mobile phones. I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth into some of the improvements we've already talked about internally.

I've always found the most rewarding projects are those that delivered not only what the user really wanted (as opposed to what they may have asked for :-) ) but also those that give people a real delight in using them.

At Extravision we're always trying to make the tools we provide better and easier to use, and I'll be talking a bit about how we develop our ideas and successfully deliver them. You might even get the occasional sneak peak behind the curtain at the things we're working on.

So, stay tuned to the 'developments' section of the Extravision blog and I'll be back in a week or two to talk about understanding users.
