Apex – an Event Management solution that generated valuable new business

Challenge 

Apex asked Extravision to build and send an event management campaign to go out to around 13,000 potential customers to promote their Cloud event on 4th November on HMS Belfast in London.

Apex required the campaign to raise brand awareness and to promote the event to people responsible for delivering IT services; to come along to review the Cloud and discuss ways to leverage these new technologies; with dinner and drinks in the Admirals’ Quarters afterwards. Details of the event content between 3.30 and 6.00, were listed and recipients were invited to secure one of a limited number of places, by either emailing a response or phoning a telephone number.

The design of the campaign was well balanced with had an impactful header image, Apex branding, clear information about the date, time, venue and agenda content and a strong call to action.

Results 

The campaign was very well received by IT professionals and several email bookings were received on the day it was sent. As a direct result of the campaign, Apex is currently in discussion regarding 6 new business contracts.
