When looking at the web and web based applications, an API can simply be thought of as a method of interacting with an application whereby you send a request and it returns something to you.
The evmessenger API is designed to allow 3rd parties to integrate to the extravision system, simply and effectively. Eventually virtually everything that can be done in the evmessenger application will be able to be done programmatically.
For example, if your designers create a microsite, using the API you can track all clicks through the site
from the email. Or if you have a web form, you can pre-populate the form from the email without the need for extravision to host the form or any additional cost.
All you need is a developer username and password and away you go.
