Extravision has chosen PowerMTA from Port25

Extravision announced today that it has chosen PowerMTA, the flagship software product of Port25, to manage its growing email messaging infrastructure.

After reaching a sending threshold with our current vendor, Extravision required an MTA (message transfer agent) that had the capacity to send high volumes of email, support multiple IPs, and provide world class support for latest email authentication standards.  

With PowerMTA™ from Port25, Extravision now has the capability to support hundreds of IPs from one MTA through the use of Port25’s innovative VirtualMTA technology. VirtualMTAs help Extravision Ltd improve overall efficiency by reducing the amount of servers required to deliver large amounts of customer email segmented by unique IP addresses.  

Establishing a good reputation with the ISPs and warming up new IPs was also critical to Extravision Ltd. VirtualMTAs enhance reputation by offering pinpoint mailing delivery control with options to enable or disable DomainKeys and/or DKIM-based sender authentication. Ability to also configure granular delivery rate shaping parameters on a per domain and/or per email stream basis further allows VirtualMTAs to enhance reputation.

Extravision Ltd, looked at other MTA vendors and chose PowerMTA™ based on its ability to integrate email streams with its current configuration. Additionally, the fact that PowerMTA is a turnkey downloadable software, offering a flexible evaluation process, drove the decision-making process.
