Extravision is pleased announce its commitment to the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) as we have recently signed up as members for another 3 years, through to 2015.
As an Email Service Provider (ESP) our membership of the DMA provides us with –
- A wealth of research – keeping us up to date with the latest facts, figures and trends in email marketing through toolkits and reports
- Solicitors & free legal advice – helping us to make sure that everything we do abides by both UK and EU law and legislation e.g. the new cookies directive or EU data protection drive
- Supporting of best practice – complying with the Directing Marketing Code of Practice means we’re responsible for our actions, and implementing best practice methods.
As well as it being a great thing to be part of a responsible reputable self regulatory body, our membership also provides us with the opportunity to help shape and drive the future of email marketing.
Simon Hill, Extravision's Technical Director, continues to sit on a working group for the DMA’s Email Marketing Council, and is looking to secure a place on the Council later this year. His input is invaluable to discussing common issues and themes amongst ESPs as well as looking at the priorities and up and coming trends for the industry.
