evmessenger has been developed as the result of 8 years of successful email marketing. At a basic level, as with any other portal, it allows you to send out email. However evmessenger has been built to be different in many ways. Not only is it extremely fast and resilient but it contains a whole host of features which will ensure that the results you obtain will be far higher than those using any other method. This document outlines some of the differences:
ease of use
A portal or for that matter any piece of software can only be easy to use when you know how to use it. We train you to use evmessenger and plan, build and execute several campaigns with you until you are confident that you're up to speed. After the training we will support you as much as you need to ensure that you use the portal confidently and take advantage of its comprehensive functionality.
In addition we have a team of experts that you can talk to regarding building email lists, cleansing data, creating html templates, writing compelling copy, etc. You don't have to use any of these services but they're there if you need them.
on-line editing / templates
If you're producing newsletters, bulletins, announcements or other frequent communication then in general you'll want the same HTML design but different text. In evmessenger you can create templates and then simply edit the text using our easy to use wysiwyg editor. This means that anyone can produce articles without any HTML knowledge whatsoever by choosing from a set of templates and directly typing or pasting in the content.

Alternatively you can use your own editor such as Frontpage and simply paste the HTML created into evmessenger and preview the text. Whatever way suits you best.
response rates - personalisation
Personalisation in our terms means making the message look as though it was personally written. To do this we offer multiple personalisations for dates, company names, contact names, etc. that will make your message indistinguishable from a hand written message and deliver results 10 times greater that any other method. Here are a few examples:
- Name Personalisation - Starting an email with 'Dear X' is no way to build a relationship or for that matter to start a conversation, yet it happens all the time - though not in our system. With evmessenger Mr Dave Smith becomes 'Hi Dave' or 'Dear Mr Smith' whilst Mr X Smith becomes 'Dear Mr Smith' and Mr X X becomes 'Dear Sir'.
- Date Personalisation - Our unique algorithm takes a database date and converts it to personal text. So a date of 12-06-2003 becomes 'back in June this year' and 05-08-2000 becomes 'back in August 2000'. This lets you start a conversation with "I last wrote to you back in June this year about.." - it really works!
- Company name - Our company personalisations shorten the full company name so that it looks natural and hand written Logica Europe Ltd becomes 'Logica' and Productivity Through Software (UK) plc becomes 'PTS'. This is a great way to get referrals - "is there anyone else at PTS that I should speak to?" will get you a 3% - 5% referral rate on top of the campaign responses.
delivery - test and schedule
Our methodology is very much built around testing messages. We strongly advocate sending a small batch of messages, looking at the responses to check that your message is getting the response you expect. When it does, probably after a few tweaks it's time to go live.
When you do run your campaign evmessenger will schedule the messages for delivery and even pick the optimum time for you. By scheduling you will stagger the responses to a point where they can be handled effectively. In general we find it is far more effective to deliver 5 emails a day, than to bombard a sales team with 100 leads at once.
Both testing and scheduling is handled extremely effectively in evmessenger.

corporate email system
A number of our clients are large companies operating over multiple countries. In this case our system is used with varying manager permissions. For example an EMEA marketing director might have the ability to see the campaigns and results or each of the regional marketing managers but each manager would only be able to see their own work.
Within each account it is possible to set different permissions for individual users. One user might have the ability to create and test a campaign, but not have the ability to submit the campaign for processing.
Both the structure and permissions can be changed quickly to meet the needs of the individual organisation.
pricing - flexible structure
We want a long term relationship with our clients. This means charging a fair price for a great service. We also know that some clients want to be charged by price per email, some per project and some per time period.
We will discuss your requirement and offer you the most cost effective plan for your usage.
