In the early days of Extravision my sole focus was finding clients and spreading the word. Now, in our 7th year, we have a talented team supporting our valued client-base and I am able to spend more of my time identifying how digital marketing can be used by all our clients to grow their business. Email marketing has developed significantly over the last 7 years and Extravision has been at the forefront, exploring potential capabilities always with one question in mind; how will this actually improve our clients' business? As a result our system has developed in harmony with user requirements.
One of my key roles now is to work closely with our clients to identify features they actually want, avoiding unnecessary gimmicks. That said, I am still very much involved with the day-to-day running of our sales team and given half the chance and half an hour of your time I will happily bend your ear about the virtues of working with Extravision...
I began my career just over a year ago, selling event and conferencing space at Old Trafford. I found Manchester United to be highly pressurised sales environment, but I feel this has given me the skills and confidence to cope with this new account management role.
Extravision focus on building and establishing long term relationships, so I’m looking forward to getting to build quality client relationships, rather than dealing with a high volume and turnover of clients.
I’m excited to be part of a growing company, where everyone takes pride in their work and is passionate about creating the best experience for customers.
I’ve been with the company since 2004 and started as a web designer. As the company has grown so has my role. My main focus within the company is to lead my team by example and make sure that we not only meet the clients/customers expectations, but also exceed them.
Before my time at Extravision, I studied Broadcast and Multimedia Technology. The degree also included a placement year which involved working for a computer based training (CBT) company. I was part of the development team which worked on several multi-million pound contracts. After leaving university I travelled to Europe, America and Canada before joining Extravision. My passion for email marketing continues to amplify just like the company itself.
I have been in a sales role with Extravision since the company began in 2004. Back then we were selling very high level email marketing software, but soon realised that what the market needed was campaign advice, strategy and management. It’s been great to be part of a growing business from the start and I enjoy how varied the role can be. It’s also good to see how many clients still work with us, who we helped launch email marketing with us in those early days.
Before this I had sold very technical software to software development companies and before that, catering equipment to hotels and restaurants. My degree was in Law which has come in handy for negotiation and presentation skills.
I’ve been working as a Web Designer for Extravision since 2005. Before joining Extravision I studied my degree in Multimedia and Internet Technology at Salford University. It’s been great to see the business and our team grow over the years and there has always been an exceptional atmosphere within the office. It’s a pleasure working with people passionate about the future of the company and how best we can use technology to increase business for our clients
I have been in a sales/consultancy role with Extravision for nearly 3 years now and my role is a pretty varied one; with the main focus being on managing accounts, developing new business and liaising with the design and technical teams.
My background has always been in sales, even as far back as my student days when I was going door to door selling cinema and gym memberships. After living in a few countries and dragging out my travelling days for as long as possible, I returned to Manchester and worked in recruitment for 2 years – specialising in the Qualified Finance market. I soon found that this industry wasn’t for me. My timing was perfect as I was given the opportunity to speak with the Directors at Extravision.
Choosing to be part of a growing SME, as opposed to being a cog in a wheel for a corporate monster was a no-brainer. We have a great office environment here and everyone feels passionate about helping the company continue with its growth. We all look forward to achieving more success together for many more years to come
I have been with Extravision for 3 years and I work in a sales/consultancy role for the company. My main focus is managing campaigns for my clients, developing new business opportunities, offering advice and tips on improving campaigns and coming up with creative ideas for new campaigns.
Although my degree is in Law, my background is primarily in sales/account management. After finishing university, I held an account management role for a few years for a health and beauty company and then worked for a large corporate software company as an account manager.
Working for Extravision however has proven to be a perfect career choice. Not only is there a fun atmosphere in the office but it’s great to be part of a growing company where we all feel passionately about the company and it’s continued growth.
As a founding director of Extravision my role has been to develop the technology and product from the ground up to provide a stable and secure infrastructure. Today my role is moving more towards looking at how we deliver the emails and our “delivery reputation” as well as growing the company. My background is a degree in electronic engineering which I then followed with some part-time lecturing. In time I realised education wasn’t for me and moved to work for a software company, building on my system administration and software development knowledge. From this, Extravision was formed.
In 2010 I joined the DMA's Email Marketing Council Legal, Data & Best Practice workgroup. As part of this workgroup I'm involved in the production of white papers and best practice documents.
As the newest member of the team, I look forward to enhancing Extravisions strong brand values, raising our profile and continuing to provide the best customer service possible.
I studied Journalism & Broadcasting at the University of Salford, but when they started describing the death knock, I soon realised it wasn’t for me! Add in a bit of work experience and the necessary travelling, I started my career as a temp for the NHS before gaining a permanent position.
My passion for marketing and all things digital came during my time as a NHS communications officer, where I was introduced to the world of email marketing through a competitor of Extravisions! As well as seeing the world of social media grow, I understand that more traditional methods often work best, and nothing replaces the feeling you get from meeting people face to face. It’s not just about shouting your marketing messages, but about creating deeper engagement with customers, through the widest variety of channels as possible.
I joined the Extravision team as a web designer back in 2007, after graduating from Staffordshire University where I studied Multimedia Graphics. I love all aspects of design, and I’m always trying to learn new skills and techniques to help me develop as a designer. My role at Extravision is to implement client briefs and ideas, turning them into finished campaigns ready to be broadcast. I’m always keeping an eye out for future developments within email design that we can offer to our clients to help deliver them the best possible experience
